Ali's first day of school/Bear Lake

So to end the summer my dad took my brother and I and our family's up to Bear Lake. It was loads of fun. We hung out at the Lake, walked around downtown, went on the boardwalk, had the world famous raspberry shakes of course. Also, Garth, Ali, my dad and my brother got to go on a tour through the cave. I was sad I missed that one. The pictures they took were awesome. It was a nice relaxing weekend. It was the best way to end the summer before school started. Speaking of school I'm very sad that school started. Normally I kinda look forward to it. It's just that Ali is getting older. I mean 3rd grade. I embarrass her now. I still thought I was pretty hip but she lovingly reminds I am not. She was so nervous. When we went to back to school night she was in a full on sweat. I love my little girl so much. I get joy from her growing and learning and experiencing new things, but I also wish she was still a baby. So, she is off to school today enjoying the 3rd grade. Enjoying that she doesn't have her name on her locker anymore, enjoying the friends she has missed, enjoying her brand new teacher. And I'll be here when she gets home ready to hear of all the new things she experienced.

I really love taking pictures of my kids! I think they are hilarious! I don't really have anything to write just wanted to put up pictures of my kids. I sure do love them and I'm glad I get to be there mother.

Ali is a STAR!

So the other day we told Ali we would take her bowling because she had reached 40 points on her chore chart. I let her pick the place and she decided she wanted to go to fatcats. When we show up we see Fox 13 is there and I'm like I wonder what's going on? We go inside and this girl comes up to al and she says do you wanna be on the news with the Jazz bear? Ali was a little reluctant being shy and all, So I say sure she does. So the girl takes her over and has her stand in with a bunch of kids and big buddha and if you are from Utah you have probably seen him. So she cheers and stuff when they tell her too and then they say for all the kids to go over and bowl with the Jazz bear. So she gets to bowl with the bear for like an hour and a half. She was in seventh heaven not only because she got to bowl so long(for free I may add) But because it has been her lifelong dream to be on T.V.(along with going to Arizona, whatever that means) So now we have Ali the T.V. Star no autographs please!

Hello?? Is anyone out there??

So, I know I haven't posted in awhile and I must say I have missed you all dearly ;) I'm not sure if anyone will even be interested anymore but I have been asked ever so nicely to update my blog.I hope you all like the new look :) Lot's has been happening since I last posted and I know that the majority of the people who will read already know. We are really excited that Garth has been offered a job with the Bountiful Fire Department GOOOOOOOO Garth!! School is almost out for Al and we have a busy summer planned so there will be tons to write about. I'm going to post some pictures so you can all see what's been going on! Thanks!
