Kids in the water

My kids are fishes, I swear. They both love the water. When we came back from Washington we spent the night in a hotel in Boise. We needed to break the trip up. It's hard driving 12 hours with a 8 month old, maybe a little harder with a 6 year old. Any way we went swimming in the pool and both of my kids had a blast. Chase was actually splashing so the water would fall into his mouth so he could drink it. GROSS!! Anyway they looked so cute I wanted to post some pics.

Great Great Grandma

So, on our way up to Washington we stopped by Garth's great grandmas house. That would make her Ali and Chases Great Great grandma!!! She had her 100th birthday party right around the time Chase was born. Even though she is 100 she still had the time to make my son the last afghan. This is a thing she has being doing for all her children and grand children I believe. She even made one for Ali and I when we became part of the fam. After talking to some of Garth's relatives I realized how I should have taken a picture of Ali and Chase with her. Not many people get to take a picture with there Great Great grandma!!! So, we stop by again on our way home and I got the picture. So i'm gonna post that picture and a picture of chases afghan. So you can see what she can do even at 100!!!

So much fun

So, we are back from our vacation in Washington. We had a blast. On the way up we stopped in Boardman, Oregon to see Garth's uncle Neil and his aunt Tina. They have 2 little boys Gunnar and Payden(sorry if I didn't spell it right). Ali loved playing with those boys so much. Her and Gunnar are so stinking cute together. Payden who just barely turned 3 walked up to Garth and said, "You know what's not safe?" and Garth said "what?" and he said" your shoes aren't tied". He is a smarty. I wish I would have taken pictures of them but I wasn't thinking. We stayed the first couple of days at casa de la downs. We had a nice room connected to a big bathroom. It felt like a suite in a hotel. One of the days Marlis was nice and took Ali out to feed the cows and ride a horse. Ali is truly a farm girl. She loved it. I found her outside playing one night and watched her talk to the horses ad the cows when she came in I said "what were you doing?" and she said,"telling all the cows and horses good night." She absolutely loved it up there. When we stayed with grandma and grandpa Claus she got to ride a tractor. Grandpa took her out and let her steer all by herself. It was a whole lot of fun. I got to spend time with sunny. Garth, her and I had a Wii marathon. Ali also got to play with Tessa, she was so cute when we dropped her off on our last night there she said,"can Ali sleep over next week." She didn't really understand how far away we live. Ali loves all her cousins so much.I love his family so much. I wish we could move up there and be closer to them.
Also, while we were gone Chase learned a new trick. He can pull himself up on stuff now. He just loves to do it. I really think he's gonna walk soon :) Here is a picture from last night when we were putting Chase to bed. Garth walks out of the room for one minute to get some pajamas out of a suit case and he came back to a surprise!
