Happy Easter!!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter. It's one of my favorite times of year. It's just starting to get warm and it feels like everything is coming back to life. I found a beautiful quote from the first presidency in 19992 that I would like to share. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

As we approach this Easter season, it is a priceless blessing to know that Jesus Christ lives, that He is the Redeemer and Savior of all mankind and the Son of God. We declare to all that Jesus Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).

The first Easter, the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the greatest and most significant miracle of all time.

We testify that the Resurrection was literal and real. Our Savior brought to every person who will ever live on this earth the privilege of once again having a body, of living again. Even though it has been nearly two thousand years since the Savior lived on the earth, His teachings still apply today. He gave us a practical guide for living in peace.

We urge all people to search the Savior’s life for truths that will guide and give meaning to their lives. He died that we might live. We worship Him and invite all to do likewise.

He did it!!!!!

After a month or so of rocking the boat Chase finally did some crawling!!!! It all started yesterday morning he maybe moved his arm and legs one time and fell forward . After that you could see his determination to do it. He kept trying all day yesterday. He would get so excited and kinda shoot himself forward without using his arms. So this morning when we first woke up, he had tons of energy and was ready to try some more and he got it!!! I'm sure it had everything to do with his big sister cheering him on. They are so cute together. I'm so excited for him. He's been trying forever. So I posted some video of him crawling a bit. We wanted you all to share in Chase's big moment.
Also, there is some pictures of Chase yesterday at dinner. Garth ran to the store to pick up some more solid food and he came back with Pineapple and pear mixed together so we thought we'd give it a try last night for dessert. Oh, it was very sweet for Chase. He was making the funniest faces. We tried to catch pictures of them but we didn't get his best ones. However, he did end up enjoying himself a ton.(Also, Notice the John Deere shirt. taking after his father maybe?)

GO JAZZ!!

My brother and his wife are the best!! First of all they came over last night and watched the Jazz game. My brother is so funny when he watches the game. He gets so into it. When they are doing good he will jump up and down and he gets the goofiest look on his face. He thinks D Will is his boyfriend. We had loads of fun. We cooked hamburgers, Chili con queso, fiesta dip. I made a Strawberry pie. The Jazz won so that made the night that much better. Ali and Jasmine watched Bee movie and played dress up. They also sang High School Musical and danced around. It was the cutest thing. When Ali thinks no one is listening or watching she really gets down. Then my cute sister in law totally starts cleaning my house. I mean doing my dishes, sweeping the floor, putting every ones stuff away. They left my house cleaner then when they arrived! So to that I say thanks so much Whitney Luna your a gem!!! I tried to get a picture of Whitney cleaning but lucky her my camera died. Also, Michael helped me changed my template to something I think is a little more me :)! They are priceless as a pair. They both love to laugh and be silly so it's very comical to be around them.
I've lost 10 pounds on my diet so far. Which is very exciting but also very hard. It's funny when I was pregnant I had such self control. I get tempted very easily. I will keep you posted on how much more I lose.

Family!

SO, today we went over to Kerry and Stacey Moore's house. For those of you who don't know who that is it's my mothers sister and her husband. They have two children Whitney who turned 22 today, Happy Birthday! And Dayne who received his mission call. He is going to the Zürich Switzerland mission. He leaves to the MTC on June 18th. He is very excited. We all hope he runs into Matt since they are very close. We all guessed where we thought he was going and none of us were right Ha! Here is a picture of the Moore's minus my dork butt brother.
Also, I need to tell everyone how much I love to see Chase in the bathtub. He is starting to look like such a little boy. He's started taking his bath in the big bathtub it's hilarious. He just sits up in there and splashes around. It's very cute to see Ali along side the tub sorta playing with him. Even though they have such a big age difference you can tell they have a very special bond. It's very sweet to see. Whenever I'm in a rush and Chase has to shower with me he does the funniest thing. He leans his head forward to stick it in the water. He loves it! Anyway I didn't have my sim card for my camera the other night when Chase and Ali were playing so here is an old picture of Chase falling asleep in the tub. (Yes I know he was to big for it the way I was using it!)

I want to do it too....

I want to be like everybody else, and not in the way I'm sure everyone is thinking. I can't carry the dag um car seat on my arm. I see mothers all the time carry the car seat in the crack of there arm. I can't do it! Instead I get people looking at me like I'm a freak because I carry chase with my hand and he's bouncing all over down by my leg. Then today as I take Whitney and baby Elizabeth to her 2 week appointment I notice she does it too. What kind of trend is this. I look at Whitney and think you've got to be kidding me. I ask her how she does that. She says it's a lot easier this way then the other way. So, I try it again. No luck.... just agonizing pain in my arm. How come it doesn't work for me? Is there like some trick that no one is sharing with me? So please people when you see me carrying my car seat all funky please don't stare.
Also, I want to share my good news with everybody....I'm going on nutrisystem! Yay!! Exciting I know. I've been dying to shed some unwanted post no sugar sugar binge. If you catch what I'm saying. After my strict diet with my pregnancy I went a little over board with the sugar. So now I need to shed some of those pounds. I'm very excited and I will be excited to share my progress with all of you.

Why can't I remember.....

I don't understand why after we have been pregnant our minds still don't work. I forget things all the time. Where I put my car keys, what day it is, what I'm suppose to be doing. It just all mushes together. This morning I get Ali ready for school and we are all set to leave and I go to get my keys from exactly where I left them and ah ha there not there. Either Ali likes to mess with me and move them places and then tell me she has no idea where they are or I'm really losing it. I start searching frantically. I look in the drapes, I look in the dirty clothes pile, I move the couches and search the cushions a million times. Finally, it's like 8:30 she's late there is no hope for me so I call Pam. Please come get Ali and take her to school I say. I've lost my keys again. You don't know how many times we did this with Pam, Matt, Rupert last year when I actually was pregnant. She of course agrees. She comes picks her up and takes her to school. They second they leave I stick my hand down the back of one of the couch cushions out of desperation and what did I find my keys!! I think to myself it figures. Also, my son is really into this push up pose. He pushes up on his arms and gets on his tippy toes. I'm not sure what he is doing. It usually happens when he is trying to crawl. I think it's really funny. I wish Matt was here to see it he would be impressed. So I'm posting a picture of it for all to enjoy.
One last thing if any of you have never been to jibjab.com you need to go it's the funniest website. You upload pictures and stick people you know heads on other peoples body to funny things. It's hysterical. I wanna put the one on for everyone to view that I did of my brothers and Garth so you can see how funny it is. So if it doesn't show up my bad but you should all check it out.

Good times, Family outings, sleepless nights

Yesterday was such a beautiful day. I wish it would stay like that all year round. Trust me we took advantage of the beautiful weather, My brother Michael his wife Whitney there daughter Jasmine and Elizabeth met us at the park. It was kinda funny because Michael and Garth took up with some local boys to play basketball. Mind you these boys were younger and in shape and my brother and my husband nearly died playing five games of basketball with them. It was actually pretty funny to watch. I will admit they did hold there own. Good job guys. I think the funniest part of the whole day was when Ali was climbing this little tree that had like ten branches and was maybe seven feet tall. She was also in a skirt. So, she gets up to this little spot to sit and she's so proud of herself because she did an awesome job and she calls out to me, I look over and tell her how great she is. She then proceeds to scoot down the tree branch and there is this little branch that's sticking out and as she scoots down her skirt gets stuck on it. She tries to get herself off and only makes it worse. She calls out to me again,"mom help me here" I look over and her skirt is all the way up around her waist and she's in her underwear. I start laughing so hard I can hardly get up. She says,"Come on mom. Hurry up." I go as fast as I can and get her down and then I thought to myself I should have taken a picture of that.
After the park we went to dinner and then came back to our house. Whitney and I left to Old Navy because I was trying to find Chase something to wear on Easter. We get in our head we want a cute sweat outfit we spend the next 1 and 1/2 Hrs or so making a complete mess and laughing hysterically because we can't find anything to match anything. We end up picking up a couple of things we know will look cute in and we go try them on only to be sadly disappointed. The legs on the pants stuck right on our calf's and boy did we look cute, But at least we had a really good time.
I have been use to sleepless nights caused by my six month old, but last night it was all my daughters sleepless night. She had requested sleeping on the kitchen floor. Of course this doesn't sound like a good idea to my husband or I but we let her do it anyway and oh did we pay in the end. I went in to there room around a 11:30 because Chase needed his pacifier. I hear whimpering and I'm surprised to see Ali in her bed and she starts crying about how bad the left side of her face hurts. I'm like what part and she says her jaw and some weird little part of her ear. I ask her like inside your ear and she says no and points to some weird part of her ear. Garth say he thinks it's because while she was sleeping on the kitchen floor her pillow had come out from under her head and he thinks she slept on it funny thus the pain. Any way her pain goes on well into 1:00 a.m. So, finally Garth goes and picks up some Tylenol from the store and while he's gone she's starting to feel better. She's laughing and being herself. He comes back and gives her some Tylenol and we all get to sleep at 2:00 a.m. Oh, what a day yesterday was!
