Birthday pictures/first day of school
I've been meaning to post pictures of Chase's first birthday but I totally got sucked into the twilight series and lost all sense of time. I know I'm way behind in this but I'm really out of the loop. School started last week week for Garth and Ali. Ali has been enjoying herself immensely. She got the same teacher as last year and she loves it. She's already made tons of new friends. I didn't get a picture of Garth on his first day of school but I assure you all he looks sexy in his Firemen uniform. He seems to be enjoying it. They are working him really hard which is good for him. Other then that life is pretty much the same. For Chases birthday it was a cowboy theme and I tried to make it inviting for the little kids there. We had pin the tail on the donkey and we took a couple of pictures of kids in wanted signs. We had a horse shaped cupcake cake. It was fun. It was nice to have all my family together and thanks to the Sorensen/Cox family for stopping by on short notice!!!

Happy Birthday Chase!!!
My little guy is 1!! I can't believe it and I honestly dreaded it. I feel like next thing I know he'll be 7 and starting the 2nd grade. Time sure flies. I love him so much. He is an absolute joy. I can't believe it took us so long to get him and that we ever lived life without him. He sure was worth the wait though, here's a couple of photos from his first year. We love you buddy, thanks for all the smiles!

Fishing
Chase finally got to go on his first fishing trip. It was really cute to see him in his little rubber boots and his John Deere sweater. It wasn't a very good day to go because it rained and Ali and Garth didn't catch any fish. They were pretty disappointed. Also my camera's battery died so I didn't get very many pictures. My favorite part of the night was how Garth didn't fill me in on the fact that I-80 west was closed and we were going to have to go down Provo canyon. Don't worry it only took us 2 hrs to get home. Gotta love him!

Lagoon/Highschool Musical/Walking!!!
Dayle "The man" Swensen got us tickets to Lagoon from his work for Friday. I decided we should go later in the afternoon/Evening so it wouldn't be as hot. Ali was big enough for all the big kid rides but I wasn't sure I was ready for that. Every time her and Garth went on a ride I made myself sick thinking about what might happen. That's when I realized my new fear of roller coasters. Garth kept asking if I wanted to go with her but I couldn't I was to scared. Chase and Al went on a couple of the kid ones and we also met up with Garth's brother Dean and his wife Heidi and there son Riek. It was lots of fun and kinda exhausting.

On Saturday night my Aunt Stacey got Ali and I tickets to the High school Musical play at the Capitol Theater. It was a girls night out!! We had so much fun. We listened to tween music the whole way with or windows down and loud enough everyone could hear. Ali danced through the whole show. I can tell when she is really excited because she hyper babbles and it's one of my favorite things about her. It was a great way to spend a Saturday night.

And last but definitely not least Chase has kinda started walking!!!!! He won't walk unless we stand him up he still prefers crawling. It sure is cute to see my little baby walking. He is my miracle baby and I love him. I don't think I want his year birthday to come!

Raging waters/Dinosaur park
My aunt Stacey got free tickets to raging waters and invited my family and the Luna's. So we all went on Thursday. Ali is a little fish. She absolutely loves the water. She's also a huge daredevil. She went on those water slides. I was so scared for her. I didn't understand how her little body didn't fly out of the water slide. You fly down them. We tried taking Chase down the little slides. He was so not down with that. All in all it was tons of fun!
On Saturday we took a jaunt down to Ogden to the Dinosaur park. Ali was so funny. She really thought the Dinosaurs were alive and was a tiny bit scared. It didn't help that Garth and I were adding to it. It took her awhile to warm up to the idea. Once she got use to it she had a blast. Poor Chase was just hot and didn't really understand what was going on. I kept pouring water on his head to keep him cool. He didn't appreciate it so much. We stopped by this cute little restaurant on our way home that was like a little mine house thing. The food was delicious and we all loved the atmosphere so much. I'd recommend it to anyone when they are in Ogden. Yummy!

Ali on a 2 wheeler
So, we took Ali's training wheels off her bike a couple nights ago. She rode that two wheeler effortlessly. She was so professional. She didn't wobble or fall over or nothing. I had the cutest video of her. She is so cute in it, except it wouldn't download which makes me very sad. She looks so proud with her accomplishment. Anyway we are very proud of her. She also has become our little chef. She likes to make us delicious desserts and dinners I'll post a picture of her first dinner she made. Yummy! Mind you Garth and I try everything she makes!!!
